Organization Tips And Tricks

Organization Tools For Moms

If you’re anything like me, you need to write everything down so you don’t forget. The dreaded “Mom Brain” has struck hard. Luckily I’ve combined my passion for creating and graphic design with my constant need (work in progress) to try to be more organized. Below are some of my favorite journals, notebooks, logbooks and more to feel less stressed by staying organized. Simply click the picture for purchase options from Amazon!

My favorite and most recent creation is this six month daily planner and organizer. It is undated, so it literally never expires and you don’t have to stress if you miss a day (or week)!

Journaling
Journaling has always been one of those things that I want to do, but that I never really took the time to do consistently, until recently. I was shocked at how much it helped my mental and emotional health once I started journaling consistently. This journal for moms is a great way to get started, especially if you are struggling with motherhood, which has been single most amazing and simultaneously difficult thing I have ever done. Interspersed in this lined journal are empowering quotes from my Instagram page, which were written when I needed to dig down deep and by doing so, I learned I was often not alone in my struggle.

Positivity Journal
On my quest for constant self improvement, one thing I’ve tried to be more consistent about is having a positive mindset. So I created this journal to help reduce negative thoughts and turn them into positive ones. For every negative thought you have, you write down three positive thoughts. It’s so good for the soul to look back through previous entries and read about all of the positive in your life.

Meal Planning Notebook
I used to be an expert meal planner (like, before kids, ha)! Every Sunday I would create a meal plan for the week. It was easy and made life a whole lot less stressful. Somewhere along the way, (read: I had 2 kids), I lost my way and stopped meal planning. I got to a point where just trying to figure out what to make for dinner that night caused me so much anxiety. I finally started meal planning again and I have to say it has significantly lowered my stress levels. I don’t always stick to it, but it’s so helpful to just look at meal ideas and to switch things around if need be.

Kids Quote Journal
One of my absolute favorite things to do (now that my kids are a little older), is look back at the list I kept in the Notes section of my phone and read through all of the adorable and hilarious things they used to say. I wasn’t always great at keeping up with it, and it is in no way organized in a way to share with others, so I decided to design a notebook to record all of the funny and cute things they said.

Letters To My Daughter
This sweet and thoughtful gift is perfect for a baby shower for any mom expecting a girl, or even for a first birthday present for daughter! It is a lined journal and titled “Letters To My Daughter” where you can write your story, words of wisdom, and so much more for your daughter to read when she is older! What an amazing treasure for her to cherish as she grows up and has children of her own! And click here for Letters To My Son if you’re a fellow boymom like me!
